We understand that there are many people that would like to adopt a horse, or even rehabilitate one themselves, but busy schedules, obligations, or perhaps a lack of horse knowledge and/or facilities would prevent them from doing so.
Being part of the T.R.E.W sponsorship program is a way for you to help make a difference.
When you sponsor your favorite T.R.E.W Equine for yourself or a friend, you help share in the care. Your support helps to offset the costs of providing appropriate quality nutrition, shelter, enrichment programs, and professional attention, (Veterinary, Farrier, Chiropractic, Dentist etc.).
Horses remain at the care facility until they are physically and emotionally healthy, and a responsible, experienced and suitable home is found for them.
There is no way of predicting the period of time that our residents remain in care. They all come with issues specific to them as individuals, some being longer term in their nature than others to improve upon.
Once a sponsored Horse or Pony has been deemed ready for re homing, has found such a suitable home, and been adopted, your sponsorship can be transferred to assist another horse in need if desired, (should there be one in care at that time).
Our ability to continue to take in horses in need, and provide all the care, treatment, and handling required to establish a happy and healthy future for them, depends entirely upon the resources at our disposal. Please consider working alongside us in this very important role, and becoming a part of the extended network that is the T.R.E.W team.
If it is not within your means at this time to sponsor a horse alone, maybe consider a group sponsorship with friends, family members or even co-workers.
Sponsoring a horse can make such a difference, not just for the horse you sponsor but for all the other horses we can help due to sponsors like you.
If you would like to sponsor one of our wonderful horses, you can select the horse you would like to support. You are welcome to visit, by appointment, and bring your horse treats, take him/her for a walk, give him/her a good grooming, or simply sit in the paddock with your sponsored friend and enjoy each others company. Regular Sponsorship:
As a Sponsor,you will receive not only the good feeling that comes from knowing that you are helping a very special animal in need in a very practical sense, but also all the following:
- Sponsorship Certificate which contains a current photograph of your selected Horse or Pony, along with a brief summary of any case history details available at the time of sponsorship.
- You will recieve a quarterly letter from your horse, keeping you up-to-date with its progress and latest developments in its life.
- FREE membership of T.R.E.W.
- We would also encourage you to visit your Horse/Pony, as we know that the horses love a good pat and some kind words. The horses really thrive on attention, and knowing that someone is out there who cares about them.
Sponsors are dedicated to helping our horses, and assuring that there is always a place of care and assistance available for a Horse or Pony who has run out of options. All sponsors will have acknowledgment on our website as our small thanks for your kindness.
Full Sponsorship:
This form of sponsorship is ideal for companies, businesses, schools, clubs or groups who may want to band together to help one of our horses in care in its recovery. The Sponsorship time-frame lasts for the term that the Horse/Pony remains in the care of T.R.E.W, or for a 12 month period, whichever comes sooner. In return for your generosity, you will receive:
- Sponsorship Certificate which contains a current photograph of your selected Horse or Pony, along with a brief summary of any case history details available at the time of sponsorship.
- You will recieve a quarterly letter from your horse, keeping you up-to-date with its progress and latest developments in its life.
- FREE membership of T.R.E.W.
- FULL naming rights for your Sponsored horse or pony! This means you get to choose a name for the Horse or Pony you are sponsoring, and the animal will carry this name for the rest of its life.
- For businesses or companies sponsoring a Horse or Pony, we will also display your business details and/or logo on the animal's profile page, as well as including this information in our Newsletters, or wherever information on this Horse or Pony is displayed, which includes at our stalls and events.
- We would also encourage you to visit your Horse/Pony, as they all love a good pat and some kind words. The Horses really thrive on attention, and knowing that someone is out there who cares about them.

Have you, or someone you know, always wanted to own a horse but couldn’t? We have a solution that makes a wonderful gift for any occasion, and helps the horses so desperately in need. Gift Sponsorship makes a wonderful gift that can be given to anyone; old or young, brother or sister, niece or nephew, and especially those folks who you can just never find the right gift for. Kids especially will love the gift of having a horse to call their own, minus the chores.
A Gift Sponsorship is a special way of showing a special someone that you care - the recipient will receive an announcement of your generous gift, and a Certificate of Sponsorship, which includes a photograph, and a short biography of `their' rescue horse all for only $35.00!
Sponsoring a T.R.E.W Horse or Pony for a friend or loved one is an ideal way to say thank you, celebrate a special occasion, or remember a loved one who has passed away.
A Gift Sponsorship is a one time donation, for one gift only.
